Scobie Mcintosh Bakery Engineers Limited

Whether it be a craft baker mixing small batches of dough for a variety of different products, a manufacturer whose specific products need a specialist machine, or a bulk producer requiring a sophisticated automatic mixing line, Scobie & McIntosh (Bakery Engineers) Ltd have the required technology.

> Fully Automated Mixing Plants

As each mixer or mixing plant is supplied to take into account the particularly unique products and production schedules of the customer, the craft baker's skills with a single mixer can be replicated in a fully automatic, continuous system, with results indistinguishable from traditional mixing methods.

High Speed Planetary Mixers by Sancassiano are the fruit of many years of manufacturing experience in the food industry and have resulted in products adapted to increasing demands for productivity and reliability; in other words products designed for continuous use. These machines are particularly useful for the production of sponge cakes, sauces, custard and liquid fillings. To offer an alternative to the capacity provided by carousel systems (whose production volume can reach over 5000 litres/hour with a specific gravity as low as 0.3), Sancassiano High Speed Planetary Mixers allow capacities of between 120 and 1200 litres in the form of a single machine. For information on standard planetary mixers from 10 to 60 litres, click here.

All Sancassiano High Speed Planetary Mixers share standard features including PLC recipe control, motor speed control by inverter and the option of pressurising the bowl during mixing. A wide range of attachments and optional equipment allow a high level of adaptability to suit virtually any production requirement.
