USE
A STACK FAN FOR BETTER COMBUSTION
When using gas burners, stack fans
are required. The stack gases from
gas burners will have larger volume
than those for oil burners making
it harder for the stack gas to pass
the first section of the heat exchanger.
When a stack fan is used in connection
with gas burners higher efficiency,
longer life and lower wear and tear
will be achieved.
If the 4-6 mm water column negative
pressure that is required in the
heat exchanger combustion chamber
is not reached, bad combustion and
increasing soot in the burner will
cause the burner not working at full
effect. Air conditioning as well
as external wind conditions could
create a negative pressure in the
bakery. If a stack fan is not used
under these conditions the hot stack
gases will be drawn backwards through
the stack as well as heat exchanger
and burner when the burner fan is
brought to a stop. This may damage
the burner. |
